Why does Frameskip report the ability to access the internet?

ExoPlayer, an open source customizable video player by Google, is used in this project. As ExoPlayer is able to load videos from the internet, the app itself is technically capable of an internet connection. Rest assured that as stated, Frameskip physically does not contain the ability to report anything, including statistics or user data.

To the best of our knowledge, ExoPlayer is trustworthy, and does not collect information.
